Answer an agent from your phone · Termary Pro

Answer an agent from the notification, the number keys, or a photo — straight to the shell on your Mac.

When an agent needs you, answering is one tap away — and the reply lands in the real shell on your Mac as if you'd typed it. You never have to be at the desk to keep an agent moving.

Ways to reply

  • From the notification — the "needs you" push has a text field; type an answer and send it without opening the app.
  • Number keys — for a Claude or Codex menu, read it on the live mirror and tap 19 to pick.
  • Full keyboard — open the agent and type anything into the reply bar, including multi-line prompts.
  • Voice — tap the mic and speak your answer instead of typing.

Send a photo

Attach an image from your library or camera and it's uploaded to the Mac, then handed to the agent as a file path — which Claude and Codex read natively. Great for "here's the mockup, match this" or a screenshot of a bug.

  1. Open the agent and tap the photo chip in the reply bar.
  2. Pick an image; it uploads to your Mac (10 MB cap, kept in a pruned uploads folder).
  3. The agent receives the path alongside your text — describe what you want done with it.

Auto-accept

For an agent you trust to run unattended, flip auto-accept from the phone. Termary answers its permission prompts for you so a long task doesn't stall while you're away — turn it back off the moment you want to be in the loop.

Reply from the lock screen

The "needs you" notification carries a Reply action that runs in the background — it resolves the right Mac and delivers your keystrokes even from a cold launch. A plain tap instead opens the live mirror so you can read the full context first.

Sending and replies are part of the iPhone companion, a Termary Pro feature.
