Pair your iPhone

Pairing connects the Termary app on your iPhone directly to the Termary app on your Mac. There's no signup step and no server in between — your Mac mints a private token for your phone, and from then on the two talk to each other. Watching your fleet (which agents are working, which need you) is free; steering them from the phone is Termary Pro.

Pair in three steps

1. On the Mac, open Settings → Phone access. A QR code and a 6-digit code appear (they expire after 3 minutes — just reopen for a fresh one).
2. On the phone, tap Pair a Mac and scan the QR code — or type the 6 digits if the Mac is across the room.
3. That's it. Your groups and terminals appear in the phone's Terminals tab, live.

Phone and Mac need to reach each other for pairing — same Wi-Fi is the easy way. After pairing, you can turn on remote access to reach your Mac from anywhere.

What pairing actually creates

• A per-device token — minted by your Mac, held in the phone's Keychain. It's the only key that opens the connection.
• Nothing in any cloud — the Mac stores only a fingerprint (SHA-256) of the token; Termary's servers never see your terminals.
• Per-phone revocation — un-pair a device on the Mac at any time; its token dies instantly.
• Every Mac you own — pair the same phone with all of them and watch the combined fleet in one list.

Get your first "needs you" ping

Agent state comes from Claude Code / Codex hooks, installed with one click: on the Mac, open Settings → AI Agent Bridge → Install agent status hooks. From the next agent session on, your phone knows the difference between working, needs you, and done — and pings you the moment an agent stalls on a question.
